"Interdisciplinary Integrated Orthodontics: clinical benefits of digital workflow"

Contemporary orthodontic diagnosis is closely related to facial aesthetics (facial
driven orthodontics), in which respect for proportions during static and dynamic
smile analysis is crucial. The resulting treatment plan customization often requires a
interdisciplinary management, to optimize intraoral and perioral aesthetic
parameters. Digital approach that extends from data collection to diagnosis, up to
personalization of therapeutic plan, represents a certain advantage in fluency of
workflow and patient communication, together with efficiency and predictability of
results.
While knowledge of the latest generation software allows efficient treatment
planning with orthodontic aligners (copy-paste), appropriate use of hyaluronic-acid
based dermal fillers (Ha-based dermal filler) allows re-shaping of the labial
component, finalizing profile and smile aesthetic objectives.
In both therapeutic areas, digital monitoring leads to verification of progression and
predictability about our project, as well as short-term and long-term follow-up,
facilitating checks and optimizing treatment times (patient monitoring).
