"Targets of the intra-surgical preparation technique for structurally compromised teeth"

The prosthetic-restorative rehabilitation of teeth presenting periodontal problems, carious lesions, or restorations invading the supra-crestal tissue attachment is a challenging field that still raises doubts, operational and management concerns among dentists today. The diagnosis of the disease and its grading are of fundamental importance for the proper management of the clinical case.
The knowledge of the root anatomy and the evaluation of the various degrees of destruction of the periodontal tissues that we see once the flaps have been raised allow us to carry out the preparations correctly allowing an easy prosthetic finalization of the case. The choice of the type of preparation design varies from case to case and depending on the anatomical characteristics of the site. Furthermore it must follow some very precise dictates, this is equally valid for the prosthetic product which will then complete the rehabilitation.
