Post-extraction alveolar bone resorption often necessitates a choice of clinical decisions through which to implement implant therapy.
In most cases, the dentist's first choice is the application of guided bone regeneration with collagen membranes and bone grafts through which implantation is possible. Although xenografts have been tracked and studied in the literature, there are cases where complications are possible. This presentation aims to present the possible complications of xenograft use and possible ways to treat them.

Despite xenograft being documented and researched in the literature, there are clinical cases where complications may arise. The current presentation aims to present the possible complications associated with the use of xenografts and the potential ways they can be managed.
